$20 Statement Credit for Using Apple Pay with Citi Prestige Card (Targeted?)

Today, I received an email offer to receive a $20 statement credit after adding my Citi Prestige card to Apple Pay and making three purchases, totalling $60 or more, between 10/28/2019 and 12/31/2019. Since Apple Pay is accepted at so many stores, this should be an easy $20.

I don’t believe this is a targeted offer, but perhaps people are receiving this offer on different Citi cards? Please comment below if you received this offer and on which Citi cards.

To add Apple Pay to your Citi cards:

1. Go to the “Services” tab on the Citi Mobile App for iOS and select “Digital Wallets”
2. Tap “Add to Apple Wallet” and choose the Citi card you would like to add to your iPhone^® or Apple Watch^®
3. Enter the one-time password to authenticate.

The combined amount of all three purchases must total $60 or more. An eligible purchase is a purchase made when Apple Pay is the payment method. All eligible purchases must be made and posted to your account during the promotional period. The statement credit will be applied automatically to your account within two billing cycles after the third eligible purchase is posted. To qualify for this offer, your account must be open, current and in good standing when the statement credit is applied.
