As you might realize, I don’t blog every time an airline or hotel has a sale.  But this is a really great sale.

This is Hilton’s Friend & Family sale, but its open to the public.

What’s the deal? Seriously lower prices than I’ve seen in a long time.  So, if you already have reservations (and they weren’t of the non-refundable genre), go back and re-price it out. These are NOT non-refundable, so you can just make the reservation and decide later whether to cancel or go.

I saw some nights at the NY Waldorf Astoria for $109!!  That’s insane!

The Hampton Inn in Kingston, NY (Won’t Run For Miles likes that area) has reservations available for $80.

To my marathon friends: if you have a marathon between now and January 7th, recheck the hotel rates.  If, for example, you are running the Texas Marathon on New Years day, there are really reasonable hotel rates at the Hiltons near Humble, TX and IAH (although not for December 31 though).
