Run the Rock ‘n’ Roll Brooklyn 5 Miler or Half Marathon this Saturday!

I ran the Synchrony Financial Rock ‘n’ Roll Brooklyn Half Marathon last year (see, Review). I liked it so much that I’m running (or walk/running) it again this year.

The race is this Saturday, October 14, 2017.

In addition to the half marathon, this year there is also a 5 Mile race.

Rock ‘n’ Roll races have live entertainment and lots of fanfare and are cool, and, well, Brooklyn is super cool, and to top it all off, there’s a great party with music at the finish line.

Online registration is closed, but you can register in person at the Health & Fitness Expo, open today and tomorrow from 11am – 7pm – at the Javits Center. The Expo is bigger and better and it is open to the public even if, for some reason, you don’t want to run the race (note: I used to hate going to the Javits Center, but now that the 7 train goes to Hudson Yards, it is so much easier to get there!).
