I received a targeted promotion today. The email subject line says By invitation only – Earn triple miles on flights.
The email says the following: You’ve been selected to earn triple award miles on First and Business class tickets through July 8.
The instructions seem simple enough:
- Register before you travel using the promotion code in the email (PR38B)
- Purchase and fly on First or Business class tickets on qualifying flights*
- Sign up by April 10, 2018
- Earn triple award miles on all those flights through July 8, 2018
This would be a good promotion, if I was planning a trip before July 8th. I am planning one such trip (to Costa Rica), but I am going to travel on JetBlue, as I won 2 tickets to anywhere they fly (and JetBlue flies to Costa Rica!). So, I don’t think I’ll be taking advantage of this promotion.
