World of Hyatt Summer Bonus Points Promotion

As summer heats up (at least on this side of the globe), it is time for a new promotion for World of Hyatt and Hyatt credit cardmembers.

It’s pretty simple:

• Cardmembers can receive 10% of their redeemed points back as Bonus Points when redeemed between July 1 and September 2, 2019, on eligible redemptions including free nights, Points + Cash stays, room upgrades, dining and spa services, FIND experiences and more.
• Cardmembers must register between June 14 and July 15, 2019 to be eligible for the promotion.
• Cardmembers’ points redeemed between July 1 and September 2, 2019 will be eligible for this promotion. If a member redeems points for a stay, the entire stay must be completed by September 2, 2019 in order to receive 10% of the redeemed points back as Bonus Points. This also applies to existing reservations already booked during this timeframe, as long as cardmembers register for the promotion by July 15, 2019.
• The Bonus Points will be automatically deposited into cardmembers’ World of Hyatt accounts 6-8 weeks after the point redemption has been completed.

Park Hyatt New York

Hyatt has run this promotion before. It is more lucrative for stays at higher categories. So, if you are staying at the Park Hyatt in New York (like I did last weekend) or Park Hyatt Sydney, it will effectively only cost 27,000 points for a standard room. If you are staying at a category 1 property, it will only cost 4,500 points. I’m not certain why this promotion is limited to Hyatt cardmembers, but I do have and love the World of Hyatt credit card!
