Get 1% Cash Back for Plastiq Payments from Visa SavingsEdge

There are so many shopping portals and merchant offers out there that sometimes it’s easy to forget about one or another. For me, one such portal is Visa SavingsEdge, a portal for Visa Business cards, which works similarly to Simply Miles in that you sign up and enroll your applicable credit cards. The value of sites such as Visa SavingsEdge or Simply Miles is often the ability to stack various offers together.

With this program, a Visa Business cardholder enrolls their Visa Business cards in order to save on business expenses with Everyday Offers that are listed on the Visa SavingsEdge website. Everyday Offers require no coupons or codes, because they are applied as statement credits on enrolled Visa Business cardholders’ future account statements.

Visa SavingsEdge also gives enrollees access to a program called Activate Offers, which are instant savings applied to your cart directly from the merchant’s website.

Visa SavingsEdge‘s current Everyday Offers include a number of business solutions as well as fuel (Such as Chevron at 2% cash back for charges at the pump), some restaurants (such as Panera Bread and Panda Express at 2% cash back) and hotels (such as Mandalay Bay, MGM Grand, Aria, ExCalibur and Luxor at 4% cash back).

One business solution listed in the Everyday Offers is Plastiq. The offer says Save 1% on your first $2,500 in Plastiq payments. Thus it must be a new Plastiq account, and the savings is limited to 1% or $25. The offer is valid through December 31, 2022.

Although this offer is not a huge savings, it will in effect bring the Plastiq rate down from 2.85% to 1.85% on the first $2,500 – something that people may find useful when trying to meet a spend requirement.
