Right now, Jet Blue has a special on flights from New York LaGuardia Airport (LGA) to New Orleans Louis Armstrong Airport (MSY) and back for $49 each way ($98 rt).

Looking at the calendar, for LGA-MSY, I see plenty of $49 flights beginning August 21 through October 4, and thereafter there are some at $59 (which is also a bargain!). For MSY-LGA, $49 flights begin August 15 through October 4, and thereafter at $59.

The $49 fare is for Basic Blue, which does not include advance seat selection or a carry on bag. Blue costs $84 each way.
