A Hyatt Hotel is Opening in Southampton, New York!

I’m a New Yorker (a New Yawker) so I know how much having a Hyatt hotel in the Hamptons on the South Fork of Long Island means to many of us!

Today, Hyatt Hotels Corporation announced that The Bentley Hotel Southampton has officially joined the Hyatt portfolio as an affiliated hotel, in collaboration with Bijal Hospitality, the property’s owner and operator. The hotel, which is currently in the midst of an extensive renovation, is expected to join the JdV by Hyatt brand in mid-2024.  The hotel will begin participating in World of Hyatt when it joins the JdV by Hyatt brand.

The Bentley Hotel is located at 161 Hills Station Rd, Southampton, New York and contains 40 all-suite accommodations.

Although the press release states that the Bentley is now bookable on the Hyatt website, I tried a number of dates, and it popped up saying there was a $25 resort fee and then defaulted to other nearby hotels. I think the hotel will be bookable soon.

I have not been able to learn the category of the hotel yet. My guess, based on the reviews and prices of the property prior to this development is that it will be a category 4 or 5. I’m sure we’ll know more soon.
