If you are visiting New York City (or want to visit New York City), I found a great points and cash rate at a prominent World of Hyatt Hotel in Manhattan. Is it the Park Hyatt or Andaz? No, but it is the Hyatt Herald Square, a category 5 World of Hyatt hotel, centrally located on West 31st Street.
The rate at this hotel is usually in the mid $200s per night and frequently over $300. One day, I was researching rates in NYC for various dates and discovered something. On the scattered dates when points and cash is available, this is what it looks like:

Check out the points and cash rate!
Yes, through the end of the calendar, when the points and cash rate is available at the Hyatt Herald Square, it is always 10,000 points plus $60. This is regardless of what the Standard Rate is. There is also the evil destination fee of $22.95 per night, which is waived if you are a World of Hyatt Globalist member.
Is this a glitch or a marketing maneuver? I don’t know. But I would recommend booking now, because the rate can change at any time.
Let’s have a meetup in NYC!
Have a great Saturday!
Hi! Makes me wish I was going back to NYC soon! Great catch!
Is there a easy way to search what days are available for points and cash instead of one day at a time? What are the example dates you see?
No easy way that I know of.
