Champagne Brunch at the Hyatt Regency in Greenwich CT

Would you prefer a Bloody Mary or Champagne with your brunch? I said yes please, I’ll have both!

And so began my amazing Sunday Brunch at Winfield’s Restaurant inside the lush atrium at the Hyatt Regency in Greenwich, CT. I’ve written previously about the fabulous farm-to-table breakfast at my favorite staycation hotel, but on this last visit we decided to check out the brunch. From beginning to end, it was elegant, delicious and wonderful. From salads to sushi to raw shrimp, clams and oysters. From carving stations to omelette bars to freshly prepared pastas. From cheesecakes to red velvet cookies to fondue and crepes.  We couldn’t ask for more – what a great way to spend a Sunday Afternoon!

The price is $59, which is quite reasonable considering the quality, variety and amount of food, the bottomless beverages and the overall ambiance.

Finally, I know this is going to be asked, so I’ll answer it now. No, the Champagne Brunch is not a free breakfast option for Diamond Hyatt Gold Passport members. However, since the restaurant is in a Hyatt Hotel, you will earn additional points for the meal. You can also redeem Hyatt Gold Passport points for the meal, though I think it is better to use points towards hotel stays.
