The highly anticipated Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club opens today January 16th at New York’s LaGuardia Airport (LGA). I toured the Lounge last week and I thought it was extraordinary!
The entrance to the two-floor lounge is located post-security on the fourth floor of Terminal B and is the brand’s largest to-date at more than 21,800 square feet (nearly double the size of the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club at Boston Logan Airport). The entrance is directly next to the Amex Centurion Club!

Overview
First and foremost, the Lounge is spacious and beautiful. The main floor of the Lounge has a bar, a large eating area, a wellness area, a family area and an arcade. There is plenty of delicious food to eat and beverages to drink, ample seating areas whether you want to work or eat or relax, and sufficient electrical outlets for all of your devices. The mezzanine level has additional seating areas as well as the ultra-luxury private reserve suites, discussed below.
The Bar
The bar is the centerpiece of the Lounge. It features cocktails and mocktails by Apotheke Mixology and premium wine lists from Parcelle. Some of the cocktails from Apotheke include the Crosswind, the Blackburn’s Sour, the Red Eye and of course, the Sapphire. All of the spirits are top shelf.
Food, Glorious Food
There is a wonderful selection of food at the food counter, or you can order it using the QR code at your table.
I had an opportunity to sample the food at the Lounge and it was all fabulous. You definitely won’t go away hungry! Feast your eyes on these photos!
I asked about Kosher offerings and was told that there are pre-wrapped food dishes available on request.
The Ultra Luxury Private Reserve Suites
This, my friends, is the piece de resistance of the Lounge. It’s not cheap (prices below) but, wow, this is kind of marvelous.
On the mezzanine level of the Lounge, there are three private bookable rooms known as the Reserve Suites. These private suites go above and beyond to provide an upscale, luxury experience for guests.
Can you say bougie?
The Reserve Suites offer a wide selection of foods and delicacies and feature a reserve wine list curated by New York City wine bar and retailer, Parcelle, featuring varietals from wineries across the globe.
Each Reserve Suite features:
- A dedicated suite attendant
- A menu from Jeffrey’s Grocery designed exclusively for The Reserve Suites
- Personal bathroom with a shower including luxurious amenities such as a Dyson hairdryer, Oribe
products and more - Signature caviar service upon arrival
- Entertainment including TV and PS5
- Special selection of wine options from Parcelle, a New York City wine bar and online wine retailer
- Option to select a premium travel gift upon departure such as a LARQ water bottle or Drowsy Moonlight Shadow Sleep Mask
- Fully-stocked snack and refreshments
Entering the Reserve Suites, I was served caviar on a blini, and mini lobster rolls. I took some videos, which you can view here.
Reservations for the Reserve Suites may be made on the Chase app for blocks of three hours. The booking can be made up to one year (but at least 72 hours) in advance of their flight.
PRICE – you want to know the price right? Suite one can fit up to four guests, and costs $2,200. Suites two and three can each fit up to eight guests, and cost $3,000 per suite. These two suites can be combined, for up to 16 guests, at a price of $6,000.
Maybe a business meeting, or some family time before a trip? Yup, I told you that the price was steep. But, hey, it’s New York.
I asked if the suites could be paid for in Ultimate Reward points. I was told, not yet, but maybe someday.
I would hope that, if you pay for one of these suites using a Chase Sapphire Reserve card, it will code as travel or restaurant?
Wellness Rooms with Treatments from Face Haus
In the wellness rooms with treatments from Face Haus, visitors can choose from a variety of complimentary treatment options from an
esthetician that can be booked onsite on a first-come first-served basis. Sample treatment options include a face refresher (cleansing and exfoliating); a gentle cleanse and mask for dehydrated skin; a clarifying treatment with a face massage; and an illuminating treatment. Visitors can also receive a complimentary Fly By Face Haus Skincare Travel Kit (containing a cleanser, a serum and a moisturizer).
Game and Family Rooms
The Lounge has a really nice children’s playroom.
The Arcade
The Lounge has a very cool retro Arcade equipped with a jukebox, pinball, shuffleboard and photo-booth for complimentary use. This area is awesome and it is definitely not just for kids!!
