Qatar Airways Al Mourjan Business Lounge at Doha Hamad International Airport (DOH)
Qatar Airways has two lounges at Doha Hamad International Airport, the Al Safwa Lounge (First Class) and the Al Mourjan Lounge (Business Class) On a recent trip to Egypt, I visited the Al Safwa Lounge on the way there, and the Al Mourjan Lounge on the way home.

Qatar Airways First Class and Business Class (Elite, Comfort & Classic) and OneWorld First Class and Business Class passengers can access the Al Mourjan Lounge at no additional cost, while Business Class (Lite) and Economy Class passengers throughout the network can purchase lounge access.
It is hard to top the Al Safwa Lounge, but visiting the Al Mourjan is also quite an amazing experience. It is often described as one of the best and most impressive business class lounges in the world, offering surroundings that rival those of any five-star hotel. To begin with, the design of the lounge is simply beautiful. The highlight of the main floor is a breathtakingly stunning pool, and there are restaurant and bar areas on both the first and second floor of the lounge.
The lounge is so large that there’s a map!
Our flight from Cairo to Doha was a redeye, so we arrived at Doha Airport fairly early in the morning. We were tired and I was still feeling the uncomfortable affects of food poisoning from earlier in my trip. Regrettably, I was not hungry, as the offerings looked wonderful.
This is the dining area on the second floor offering a veritable Arabian feast! You could choose from a huge assortment of luscious pastries, hot food buffets, and even champagne.
Back downstairs on the first floor, there were rest and relaxation areas as well as tea and coffee stations.
The lounge is beautiful and memorable and I hope to visit it again one day when I am able to better enjoy all it has to offer.
