Carmel Car and Limo service has been around long before the on-demand vehicle businesses entered the market. It was the 666-6666 car service jingle you could never forget. I used Carmel for years, primarily for airport service.
Well, now Carmel has both Schedule-in-advance and On-demand vehicle service, and it is offering $66 to register for it’s service and downloading it’s app on iTunes and GooglePlay.
I just registered, and it was not difficult.
Download CARMEL APP NOW and receive $66 in Car Cash for FREE!!

Signed up. Super easy! In the “My Car Cash” section you can request car cash also. I clicked the city I wanted and it gave me an extra $6. Nice. I need a lift from MDW to ORD in a couple months and will give this a try
John M says
You should note that $60 of those dollars DOES NOT work in NY, CT, or PA. Pretty much useless now.
Will Run For Miles says
thank you John. It might still come in handy at some point, somewhere, but I agree, it diminishes the value of the deal.
Justaguy says
not as valuable an offer as it seems for NYers as the bulk of the funny money must be spent outside the metro area, and limited to paying for only 20% of the fare
eddy says
The 20% limit makes this a yawn and their failure to disclose it up from is going to make me delete the app and avoid these guys.
kate says
It looks like if can only be used for 20% off the entire fare (exception is “Speical Car Cash” whatever that is… and only outside NY, NJ, CT & PA. Maybe a good discount, but doesn’t look good for free ride.
Will Run For Miles says
did you put the code in the payment area? that should give you an extra $6. Yes, I’ve heard mixed reviews on Carmel recently. But it seemed like a good enough deal to share – and then we can all find out how good or bad it is. Inotherwords, don’t delete your Uber, Lyft and Gett apps. Honestly, I usually take subways.
