Delta Airlines has announced another reduction of benefits for its elite medallion members – this one in connection with Alaska Airlines flights. Specifically, effective May 1, 2014, Delta Gold, Platinum and Diamond members will no longer be entitled to priority security and baggage fee waivers when traveling on Alaska Airlines flights.

As a Medallion® member, we want you to be the first to know about important changes to the elite benefits offered when flying with our airline partners.
Starting May 1, 2014, baggage fee waivers and priority security are no longer included in the benefits extended to Medallion members when flying Alaska Airlines.*
However, Diamond, Platinum and Gold Medallion members will continue to enjoy the following benefits on Alaska Airlines flights:
Complimentary Upgrades
Priority Boarding
Preferred Seats
Priority Check-In
