Park Avenue, NYC |
This is the latest installment of Cuckoo for Jogging Maps, a regular feature of Will Run For Miles.
As I mentioned in a prior post, on Saturday, I visited the New York City Grand Hyatt Hotel. The hotel was right on the course of SummerStreets, and I stopped in to cool off, and to ask for a Jogging Map.
All of Hyatt’s Jogging maps are a little larger and a little more durable than a playing card. They are easy to put in a pocket. The map displayed on the card is clear, and the route is well-marked. The written instructions on side “b” are good. Since the Grand Hyatt is only about a mile from Central Park, the map gives directions to get to Central Park, and to run there. Of course the map is useful for more than running – it is a handy resource for taking a walk or riding a bicycle.
