GREAT Airfare ALERT – JFK-DCA- $140RT – for Marine Corps Marathon

Are you running the Marine Corps Marathon on October 28th?

I just happened to check the airfare for NYC-DCA for 10/27 – 10/28 and found a really good price on American Airlines.

The flights Saturday morning from JFK to DCA (8 am or 11am) are $80, and the return flights on Sunday (6pm or 7pm) are $60!

I only booked the return flight – because I think it might be easier to take Amtrak on Saturday morning down to DC.  But on the way home, I will definitely prefer to fly.

(p.s. if anyone is going from NYC and wants to share a taxi to JFK for the 10/27 morning flight to DCA, let me know and I’ll consider flying instead of taking a train!)

(crazy fares at other times too – for example – 9/13-9/14 is $127 RT — if you’re looking to fly this route, check your dates)

Please note: Delta has corresponding fares of $120 on the LGA-IAD route for 10/27-10/28- but Dulles Airport is less convenient than Reagan Airport is for travel to the Washington, DC/ Arlington, VA area.

HURRY up and GRAB this flight – prices have generally been sitting in the mid-$300’s!!
