Hyatt Introduces Homes & Hideaways by World of Hyatt

Well, well, well, Hyatt today announced plans to launch a new short-term vacation rental platform, Homes & Hideaways by World of Hyatt. I have only received the most basic information, which I am sharing here.

This new program will feature private homes and remote hideaways in the United States including a collection of short-term private home rentals from beachfront escapes to mountainside ski chalets.

World of Hyatt members will have direct booking access to these homes and can earn and redeem points beyond the traditional hotel stay.

The new program will feature rental accommodations across the United States in key travel destinations like Hawaii, Colorado, and more, with plans to grow the platform globally.

I have been informed that Homes & Hideaways by World of Hyatt will not be included in either the hotel or all-inclusive award chart, and may require varying levels of World of Hyatt points to redeem a stay that might exceed the amount needed for a traditional hotel room.

Depending on the price and points for stays at these residences, this program might be beneficial, especially for family and group stays. I will share more information as I learn more.
