Hyatt has announced a new Bonus Journeys promotion.

Promotion period: June 15, 2020 – September 15, 2020

FIRST STAY: EARN 2,500 POINTS 

Elite members (Discoverist, Explorist, Globalist) will earn 2,500 Bonus Points on their first qualifying stay during the offer period. An eligible stay is defined as any stay at a participating hotel where a member is paying an Eligible Rate or redeems a free night award for at least one night of their stay.

SECOND STAY AND BEYOND: EARN TRIPLE POINTS

World of Hyatt members will earn Triple Points from June 15 through September 15, 2020, across all Hyatt locations worldwide staring with their second qualifying stay during that period. This includes not only the 17 Hyatt brands, but also participating MGM Resorts destinations Small Luxury Hotels of the World hotels and Lindblad Expedition experiences.

ANALYSIS

This promotion is very similar to a prior Bonus Journeys promotion, except members will now receive triple points as compared to double points under the prior promotion.

Obviously, Hyatt seeks to promote a return to travel following the pandemic. Combined with this promotion is a generous cancellation policy as well as stringent cleaning protocols, all designed to give travelers confidence in the return to travel.
