The Cathay Pacific Lounge at Terminal 3 at Heathrow Airport opened earlier this year. My flights home from Dublin in October were on British Airways with a connecting flight at Heathrow and I actually had some time to spare at LHR! I could have visited other One World lounges, but I chose the Cathay Pacific lounge. I heard it was new and nice and I had fond memories of the Cathay Pacific Lounge at Vancouver Airport – so there was no question but to go to the Cathay Pacific lounge. It was great – it is officially one of my favorite airport lounges.
I signed in at the desk and went to the Business Lounge.
There were a few different areas. The first area had dining booths and a noodle bar.
The Noodle Bar is great!
There is a self-service buffet in the second room. There was a wide variety of food available, and it was all fresh and high-quality.
In the third area, there is a full service bar with a bartender.
There is plenty of seating throughout the lounge.
The washrooms and showers.
I was allowed to walk into the First Class lounge. The main difference between the Business and First Class lounges was that there was a full service dining room in the First Class lounge and a self serve bar.
A nice selection of champagnes.
This is the dining room.
The menu.
And then it was time for my flight….
