Remember the days when being a member of AARP meant great hotel discounts? Well, Radisson Hotel Group is bringing those days back! Radisson is offering not one, but two new benefits/offers for AARP members.

I’m a fan of Radisson Hotels – I’ve stayed at Radisson Hotels in Capetown, Madrid, Reykjavik, Athens, Lima and Brussels, to name a few, and I’m looking forward to my upcoming stay at a Radisson hotel in Copenhagen!

AARP 10% Discount

AARP members now receive a 10 percent discount on the best available rate at more than 1,100 participating Radisson Hotel Group hotels worldwide. The offer became available to all AARP members with a valid AARP membership card on June 1, 2019.  (See, Press Release announcing partnership between Radisson Hotel Group and AARP).

AARP Fast-Track Gold Status Through Feb 2021 

Beginning June 1, 2019 and running through December 28, 2019, AARP members who are also Radisson Rewards members can fast-track to Gold status through February 2021 when completing four stays at the eligible AARP Member Rate. All stays must be completed by December 28, 2019. Registration is required.

Radisson Rewards Gold members enjoy these Elite benefits:

• Members earn 25 points per U.S. dollar spent on eligible stays.
• 15% Food & Beverage discount at participating hotel restaurants.
• Early check-in / late check-out.

Radisson Rewards Gold status unfortunately doesn’t include complementary breakfasts, but I always have been treated extra nice, given a welcome note and amenity, and received upgraded rooms (though not necessarily suites) based on my Gold status.
