The Hyatt Regency in Princeton, New Jersey has a state-of-the-art StayFit Gym and a fabulous indoor pool. Both have been recently renovated. I honestly feel that, whether for a business traveler or a family weekend, it is wonderful to know you can go downstairs and work out in a really good environment, with really good machines or go swim some laps in the pool. When I visited, the weather was so nice, and the area so scenic, that I chose to also run outdoors.
The Fitness Center:
The fitness center is located on the mezzanine level of the hotel. It is open 24/7, is clean, well-mirrored and bright. Because of the glass windows, I would feel safe there even if working out alone. This is an important factor for me. The gym is well-stocked with state-of-the-art life fitness machines and cardio equipment. It offers, among other things:
- Life Fitness Cross Trainers
- Life Fitness Treadmills
- Lifecycle Upright Exercise Bikes
- Chest and Shoulder Press
- Seated Leg Press
- Lat pull down
- Exercise mats, resistance bands and balls
In addition, the hotel offers items such as headphones, towels, chilled towels, water and apples.
The hotel has a stunning glass-enclosed heated pool. It is just downstairs from the fitness center, is very bright, very clean and very large.
The pool is REALLY NICE!
There were also restrooms with lockers, changing areas, toilets and showers. They were clean and functional.
