A few months ago, Won’t Run and I were looking for a place in the Times Square area of New York City to have a pre-theatre drink or bite to eat. We don’t like the flashy, loud places in the neighborhood, so we were thrilled when we found a really cute, cozy, neighborhood, rustic-chic wine and cheese market/cafe called Vintner’s Wine Market in Hell’s Kitchen at 671 Ninth Avenue, NY, NY.
We sat at the bar. I had a glass of wine and Won’t Run had a craft beer. We were both impressed. There was a menu of sandwiches and small platters on the chalkboard, and Won’t Run ordered a BLT (Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato) sandwich. Oh my god. It was amazing.
A few days ago, we returned to the area, as we were staying at the Intercontinental Hotel, Times Square. We went back to Vintners and Won’t Run ordered the BLT once again. I video’ed his review. It’s hysterical.
Disclaimer: This is about as amateur as an interview/video can be – I’m not a professional interviewer or videographer – in fact I apologize that half the video is sideways!! It was nevertheless fun to make it, and I hope you enjoy watching it.
By the way, Won’t Run was wrong. The restaurant DOES accept credit cards!
