Yesterday was Global Running Day. The day was created a few years ago by the New York Road Runners Club, initially as National Running Day, to celebrate and encourage this fabulous and healthy form of exercise. NYRRC worked hard at promoting this and it took off. Now it is truly a Global running day.
I knew I had a busy day planned yesterday, so I made sure to get out and run early in the morning. Just like last year, New York Road Runners was in Central Park greeting runners, giving out water and giving out these cool buff bandana items.
Did you run yesterday? Leave info in comments. If you want to send me photos from your run yesterday, email them to me and I’ll add them to this post.
