Sometime this year, Air France will stop rolling out the carts with newspapers such as LeMondes and Herald Tribune. Instead, the airline will offer passengers digital downloads of the newspaper or magazine of their choice, in the language of their choice, to their personal smartphone or tablet.

Both ecologically and economically, this seems like a great choice for people traveling with smartphones and tablets. But, will the airline make an accommodation for those who don’t want digital media?
