I loved Savannah, I loved the Andaz and I loved running in Savannah. The jogging map recommends “running the squares.” While this might not be the best route if you want to run fast, or want to run many miles, it most certainly is the most scenic and the best way to see Historic Savannah on foot. Each square is unique and has it’s own history. The famous park scene in Forest Gump was filmed in one square! And Forsyth Park, which is at the end of the run, is just breathtaking (It also has excellent restroom facilities).
