Hotel Review: Hyatt Regency Baltimore Inner Harbor
When I stay at a hotel, I am always interested in seeing the fitness facilities offered by the hotel or at my disposal based on the location of the hotel. These features may not be important to some travelers, but to many of my readers and to me, they are very important.
Let me say this about the fitness center at the Hyatt Regency Baltimore Inner Harbor: it is hardcore and hardass! I say that with the highest regards. The gym has what you need to get the job done and feel like the gym animal you are or would like to be! Everything is spacious, top-notch and in good order. If you can’t break out a good sweat here, then I don’t know what to say!
For the mermaids, there is also an outdoor pool and terrace, located on the sixth floor of the hotel, which is open Memorial Day through Labor Day. I was not there during the open season, but I’ve been told that it’s really nice. The scenery sure looks good too!

When I visited Baltimore, the weather was perfect for running, walking or cycling. Inner Harbor is practically across the street from the hotel and simply a perfect place for a nice morning jog before returning for breakfast.
Of course, if you want some other running choices in and around Baltimore, Maryland, see this article in Baltimore Magazine which has a list of many running courses.
