During the pandemic, I quit my gym and bought a Peloton bike. One of the main aspects of the gym that I missed was the rowing machine. When I visit hotels, I look to see if the hotel’s fitness center has a Peloton bike and a rowing machine.
Myrow is a 22” full-color, high-definition immersive touchscreen tablet that attaches to and connects easily and seamlessly to the Concept2 rowing machine. It officially launched this week.

When I was invited to attend a pre-launch demo of the product last month, I quickly said yes. I even sat down and rowed for a few minutes. Being someone who enjoys interactive workouts, I was impressed with what I saw and experienced.
For anyone who already has a Concept2 rowing machine, or might be interested in buying one, myrow will turn the rowing experience from a rather static experience into an interactive one at a relatively reasonable price.
The myrow tablet retails at $499 and includes a mounting arm and all tools, hardware and cables for installation. The mounting is sturdy and the tablet takes the place of that small Concept2 monitor that usually sits at the front of the rower.
Like other interactive fitness products, there is a monthly charge for the service: $35.99 per month or $359.88 for one year.
The tablet is preloaded with workout videos designed for all levels, from beginner to advanced and training plans, and offers a constantly growing library with a variety of classes. The on-demand workouts are led by skilled rowing coaches and include a wide range of levels, length and intensity options, with music and themes. Myrow also includes tutorials, challenges, the ability to create your own workouts, and preset workouts, including Concept2’s “Workout of the Day.” Additionally, for all of us tech geeks, myrow offers metrics and analytics to help users improve their performance and achieve their fitness goals. Myrow syncs with Concept2’s Online Logbook directly from the myrow tablet. Myrow can be set up for an unlimited number of users, so each can log on to their own profile.
Myrow has some benefits over the competitors. First, the price is less than comparable products (a Concept2 rower is about $1,000 and the myrow tablet is $499). Second, unlike certain other brands, the myrow tablet can be easily removed and transported (to your summer house?) or shared with your friends at their homes as long as the rowers are also Concept2 rowers!
If you’re interested, check it out.
