ARE YOU FLYING TO A MARATHON THIS MONTH? IF SO, YOU CAN HELP SUPPORT BREAST CANCER AWARENESS BY POSTING YOUR BOARDING PASS TO TWITTER/INSTAGRAM!
For Breast Cancer Awareness Month, throughout October, post photos of your boarding passes on Twitter and/or Instagram with the hashtag #FlyForPink!
For every boarding pass posted, FlyForPink (a project of BoardingArea, Milepoint, Frequent Traveler University, and other frequent flyer websites) will donate 50 cents to breast-cancer related charities listed below (up to maximum of $10,000).
This works for physical boarding passes as well as mobile boarding passes (but cover up your name and other personal info!).
I will be flying to Maine next weekend for the MDI Marathon. I’ll be sure to post my boarding passes for this good cause. How about you?
The beneficiaries of the #flyforpink campaign are:
Estée Lauder Companies’ 2014 Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign (global)
and the 12 founding partners of the National Breast Cancer Awareness Month (NBCAM):
American Cancer Society + Susan G. Komen for the Cure + American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists
American College of Radiology + The American Society of Clinical Oncology + The American Medical Women’s Association
AstraZeneca HealthCare Foundation + CancerCare + Men Against Breast Cancer
National Medical Association + The Oncology Nursing Society + Prevent Cancer Foundation
