Much to our dismay and shock, Dave and I tested positive for Covid-19 a little more than a week ago. It was no picnic, but thankfully we are triple-vaxxed and didn’t get too sick. We had cold-like symptoms, sore throats, coughs and a lot of headaches. We never had fever, or breathing issues or lost our sense of smell or taste.
Speaking of picnics, I knew we’d be okay with food. We had plenty of coffee and oat milk, a fridge filled with salad ingredients, and a freezer stocked with healthy dinner foods like chicken and cod and salmon and frozen vegetables. We try not to buy a lot of sweets or junk food, but after nearly a week of quarantine, Dave got moody and kept muttering things like “I want potato chips” “I need M & Ms” “I want a sausage McMuffin” and the like. Who was this man?
I’ve been hearing a lot about GoPuff recently, and it’s been on my mental list to learn more. There are so many promotions right now, from Chase Card promos ($10 per credit card per month), to Hyatt ($10 promotion for Hyatt stays) to referrals and more.
With Gopuff, customers can order snacks and essentials (and alcohol in some markets, but not NYC yet) and more through the app or website. Once a customer enters their delivery address, they are able to see all the items available from the closest Gopuff facility. Gopuff then allows customers to add items to their bag and pay online. Once an order is placed, the local facility is notified and one of our driver-partners brings it directly to the customer via contactless delivery.
This was a serious job – I went right for the junk – I mean sweets. I mean the type of products we don’t usually keep in our apartment. Everything I could think of to make the quarantine a little sweeter and make Dave a little happier. First, I ordered two breakfast sandwiches. Then I proceeded to order everything from Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream to Tostitos Spinach Dip and Kettle’s Chips. Given the free promotions and the dire circumstances presented, I overlooked the fact that the prices of items are inflated. (after all, they are doing the shopping and delivery for us). The total was nearly $70, but after applying the discounts, the order came to $7.43. The order, packed neatly into three shopping bags, was delivered before Dave even woke up!
Here’s a sample of what I ordered:
Boy was he happy eating that breakfast sandwich when he woke up!
Check your emails and ask around – there are currently tons of promotions. Delivery is $1.95, but some or all of the promotions will waive this fee for a limited time.
Referral – this is my referral code – GOJ11BXXMX – you will get $30 in credit for signing up ($10 off your order three times) (I’ll get $ credit too, thank you)
Chase Credit Card Promotion – Gopuff customers who add an eligible Chase credit card as the default payment on their Gopuff account will automatically receive up to a $10 statement credit each month they make a Gopuff purchase–a potential value of up to $120 over 12 months (for more details, see here).
Hyatt Place promotion – For details and a list of participating Hyatt Place hotels, go here.
Earn 1000 World of Hyatt Points – Additionally, World of Hyatt launched a limited-time Hyatt Place x Gopuff pilot member offer in the U.S. Members can earn 1,000 World of Hyatt Bonus Points on their first Gopuff order when purchasing at least $25 worth of products between Dec. 13 and Jan. 2, 2022, using the code WORLDOFHYATT. Members do not need to stay at a property in order to earn points. (Damn, I forgot to add this code on my purchase).
Have you used Gopuff? What’s your experience with it?

Click-bait? The author claims she got $70 worth of product for $7 but never says how she did it. And “Check your emails and ask around – there are currently tons of promotions” doesn’t count.
Wait, she DID manage to include her referral link – am I missing something else?

hello Dave. I was sharing my experience with Gopuff and various Gopuff deals. If you find additional gopuff offers, deals, or promotions, you are welcome to share them in the comments.

I’m still unclear. I can see stacking the Chase and referral $10 bonuses in conjunction with the waived delivery fee offer, but tgat would require three separate orders. And doesn’t factor in the driver tip. Is that what you did?
