I noticed a great Groupon deal today – one I intend to purchase myself. $30 for $50 at Banana Republic Factory – Online or In Store.
Plus, today, if you go through the Chase Ultimate Rewards shopping portal for Sapphire cards, you can get 8 UR points per dollar spent on Groupon (in other words, you will earn 240 UR points if you buy this Groupon).
Before you rush into this, there are a few provisos you should know: (1) You must spend the full $50 to redeem the voucher, and (2) the promotional value of this deal expires December 12, 2017.
Minimum purchase of $50 is required to redeem voucher. The $20 promotional value expires December 12, 2017. If voucher is not redeemed at a Banana Republic Factory store or online by the promotional value expiration date, purchaser will receive a refund equal to the $30 amount paid for the voucher.
This was almost enough for me to decide to ditch the idea, but then I decided to purchase the Groupon because: (1) I do live close to a Banana Republic Factory Store, (2) I looked online and saw a bunch of sweaters I’d like to buy that would easily meet the $50 threshold, and (3) per the terms quoted above, if I don’t use the voucher before December 12th, I will receive a refund for the full $30 (so, there’s no risk in this purchase).
Note: I seem to be posting a lot of DEALs today, but I try to only post deals that I think are one’s that I would like to take advantage of myself (with the possible exception of Frontier and Spirit deals, ha ha).
