Last night I was downtown and had some free time before meeting friends for dinner. I decided to stroll into one of the newest Hyatt Hotels in New York City – the Hyatt Union Square NYC Hotel.
It has the vibe of an Andaz Hotel – posh, upscale and sexy!
I was greeted warmly by the hotel staff. I introduced myself, and was escorted by the hotel’s Gallery Hostess, Arelis Nunez to the fitness center. I’m usually leery of basement gyms, but this fitness center did not have the look or feel of a basement.
The fitness center was spacious with new equipment – 4 treadmills, 3 elliptical machines, 2 stationary bicycles (one of which is recumbent), and a whole circuit of weight training machines. It was new, clean, and there were lots of mirrors – a perfect place to work out (if you weren’t going for an outdoor run). Here are some photos:
Amenities, include towels, chilled towels, magazines and fruit – aka the “Hyatt Touch”!
Areilis was an enthusiastic and warm tour guide.
