Jeff Zidell is the Senior Vice President of Hyatt Gold Passport, the frequent guest program of Hyatt Hotels and Resorts. He is what travelers want from a hotel executive: someone who professional, hands-on, approachable, and goes the extra mile to get the job done. I truly believe that Jeff and his team are what makes so many of us choose Hyatt over the many other choices.
I’ve been fortunate to meet Jeff on various occasions. We’ve spoken about hotel business, but we have also talked about our shared passion: running!
This autumn he ran two marathons, bringing his lifetime total to four marathons. Both were near his home in Chicago – the Bank of America Chicago Marathon and the Edward Hospital Naperville Marathon barely one month later. Not only did he run, but he ran fast, and set personal records at each, completing the Naperville Marathon in a speedy 3:33!
Here’s a photo of Jeff hugging his daughter at the finish of the Naperville Marathon. I think he looks exhilarated (and exhausted!).
Keep running, Jeff, and if you ever form a Hyatt running team, can I join (even though I’m not lightning fast like you are)? Or maybe I can just get a Hyatt running shirt?
Joey says
Have you run a marathon in heels?
Will Run For Miles says
I dance in heels, I run in running shoes. You?
