This is one of my favorite annual deals, and I’ll show you how you can get even more value from the offer!
Each year at this time Nordstrom runs a special: Give (or buy for yourself!) $300 in eGift Cards and you receive an additional $50 eGift Card to spend in January, or Give $150 in eGift Cards and you’ll receive a $20 eGift Card.
Nordstrom gift cards can be used interchangeably at Nordstrom Rack (the discounted sister of Nordstrom). I tend to shop at Nordstrom Rack a lot, so this is a perfect investment for me. And I view the January $50 eGift Card as a little New Years gift to myself.
If you have a Chase Freedom Card and haven’t completed your quarterly $1,500 bonus spend, this purchase will earn 5% cash back or 5X Ultimate Reward points per dollar.
The same eGift Offer appears on the Nordstrom Rack website.
Why is this relevant? It is relevant because there are portals that offer cashback and points and miles on Nordstrom Rack purchases, but basically none that offer cashback or points or miles on Nordstrom purchases.
Cashback Monitor for Nordstrom shows that the department store participates with virtually no portals (except one I never heard of).
The result for Nordstrom Rack is quite different! There are many portals that offer cashback and points and miles on Nordstrom Rack purchases. Of the choices below, I would choose either Top Cashback for 2% cashback or Chase Ultimate Rewards.
I like to use shopping portals when I shop online so I can receive cash back or extra miles and points for each purchase. Topcashback and Ebates are my favorites – if you haven’t used them, these are my referral links.
Have a great holiday!
