I’m thrilled to announce that Will Run For Miles is now part of the platform of diverse and excellent bloggers called Prior2Boarding. Prior2Boarding, the brainchild of Randy Petersen, is a pioneer travel website and a sister blog platform to the wildly successful frequent flyer platform, Boarding Area.
Will Run For Miles is devoted to the interests of runners and other fitness-minded travelers. Among other things I regularly review hotel fitness centers, write marathon trip reports and post hotel jogging maps. As those of you who know me can attest, I am passionate about travel, running and fitness, as well as taking advantage of all of the wonderful opportunities that living in New York City presents. Yes, I like nice things and nice places, but not in a snobby way. Perhaps quirky yet elegant is a good description. Eclectic is another term that comes to mind.
As a teen, I obtained a psychological medical so I could avoid gym classes and instead sit in the very handsome school shrink’s office for an hour per week. I’ve since run more than 100 marathons, including marathons in all 50 states, 6 countries and 3 continents. While my pace per mile has slowed down, my love for travel, weird stories and running has not.
I’m also very involved in (and sharing) frequent flyer opportunities, be it through credit cards, shopping portals or other mechanisms, because it enables ways for one to travel more and travel better on an average salary. (My friends and family laugh at the urgent emails they get from me saying – here’s this credit card, or this deal – act fast!)
Will Run For Miles is excited about her marriage with Prior2Boarding. Won’t Run For Miles (my sometimes love interest/travel companion/sparring partner/contributing blogger) better watch out!
I love sharing information here on travel, deals, experiences and events, and I enjoy hearing from you. Feel free to contact me with ideas, suggestions or criticisms. If you want to share information or write a post, that would be wonderful. Please also save and send me jogging maps from your travels – because, if you don’t know it already – I’m cuckoo for jogging maps!
