UPDATE: The Countdown is ON! I received this email from KLM today announcing:
The countdown has begun. The countdown to a live worldwide challenge. Are you ready to win the ultimate journey of inspiration? Join the challenge before April 22nd.
On that date we will launch a high-altitude balloon. It will carry a precious cargo: a ticket to space. Predict the location of its highest point and claim it as your place. If your guess is closest, you will win the journey of a lifetime: a spaceflight.
HERE’s the LINK!
KLM‘s monthly digital magazine iFly is my favorite of all of the airline magazines! It is visually stunning.
I can’t stop looking at the most recent edition –Volume #27 HIGH Magazine.
I am mesmerized by the photography! It is both beautiful and brilliant! In keeping with the HIGH theme, the magazine elevates the readers to the highest cities and shows aerial photographs of other places from imagined helicopter rides. There’s Fukuoka, Japan and La Paz, Bolivia. There’s a contest to fly to Jakarta, and an article about HIGH-rolling in Macau, and one about the skyscrapers of Moscow. I want to go everywhere – this magazine both transforms and transports.
Page 14 is literally out of this world:
Win A Spaceflight!
“Are you ready to win the ultimate journey of inspiration? KLM will launch a live worldwide challenge on the 10th of April. With a prize that’s literally out of this world.”
An all-inclusive spaceflight worth $95,000 on the SXC Lynx!
This contest launches on April 10th – I’m sure we’ll hear more about it in the current weeks! In the meantime, you can sign up to receive an email reminder from KLM.
Can you imagine going on this journey?
