This week, Exhale, a leading health and wellness brand, announced a collaboration with Virgin Hotels New York City to provide hotel guests and members with a new standard of wellbeing with industry-leading products and spa treatments, state-of-the-art recovery services and boutique fitness classes. The Exhale Spa at the Virgin Hotel New York City is set to open this holiday season.
According to the press release, the new Exhale Spa will be 4,000 square feet and will include, among other things, recovery services: floating massage chairs, IV drips, sound and vibrational therapy, infrared therapy and the first European snow room to be unveiled in North America.
I’m curious – – what is a snow room?
This is not Exhale’s first foray into the hospitality sector. Presently, there is an Exhale Spa at the Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City, New Jersey, one at the Loew’s Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia and one at the Hamilton Princess Hotel in Bermuda. A collaboration between the luxury lifestyle hotel brand and Exhale sounds like a good match. I’m looking forward to seeing the new Exhale Spa at the Virgin Hotel New York City.
On a side note, it seems like just yesterday that World of Hyatt and Exhale announced an analogous partnership (see, Well Being and Travel: Hyatt and Exhale Join Forces!). I was saddened when that relationship ended.
