As many of you know, during the pandemic I traded in my gym membership for a Peloton Bike. I love it so much that when I travel I prefer to stay at hotels that have Pelotons.
When I’m traveling and researching hotels, I always look to see what the hotel offers from a fitness perspective. Questions I ask: Is the gym well equipped? Is there a nice jogging course or park nearby? Does the hotel have a pool? Does the hotel have Peloton bikes? If the hotel has Peloton bikes, that is a big plus for me! That is why the announcement today of the new collaboration between Peloton and Hilton really excites me.
Peloton Bikes in every Hilton Hotel in the United States by the end of 2022!
Today, Hilton (NYSE: HLT) and Peloton Interactive, Inc. (Nasdaq: PTON) announced an industry-first partnership, making Hilton the first hospitality brand to feature Peloton Bikes across its entire U.S. hotel portfolio of 18 award-winning brands. By the end of the year, nearly all 5,400 U.S. Hilton-branded hotels – from Hampton by Hilton to Waldorf Astoria – will feature at least one Peloton Bike in every fitness center, providing guests with a more holistic wellness experience, including access to Peloton’s world-class instructors and expansive connected fitness content.
This is phenomenal news and really demonstrates Hilton’s commitment to wellness. Yes, if I have to choose between two hotels – all other things being roughly equal – I will choose the hotel with the Peloton, and I’m sure that is exactly what Hilton is banking on.

Beginning today until January 1, 2023, Hilton Honors members will have a 90-day trial subscription to the Peloton App, which offers thousands of live and on-demand classes. This trial subscription is limited to first-time Peloton users (but, in my experience, Peloton is rather lenient if you sign up as a new user with a different email address).

Hilton has also announced that Hilton Honors members will receive preferred pricing on Peloton fitness products, and will be able to use Hilton Honors points to make such purchases on Amazon! Hilton has not yet disclosed the details regarding the discounts offered or the use of Hilton Honors points for such purchases, so I am unable to determine if this is a real value or not.
