Avoid accidentally purchasing items on your iPhone by turning off notifications during activities such as marathons, especially when its raining cats and dogs (and monkeys!).
We really enjoyed sampling the food and beverages in Hawaii. The cuisine was all delicious – we especially loved the ahi poke and the garlic shrimp.
I’m not sure what makes Hawaii so magical – why it’s beauty overwhelms me as it does – why even the scents of Plumeria and Jasmine bring me to my knees.

Traveling solo hardly means being alone! Here is my trip report on my solo weekend “Wideroe” trip to Dubai, UAE, and my stay at the Radisson Blue Deira Creek.
While in Charlotte, among other things, we ate plenty of BBQ, roamed Freedom Park and toured the home of a former president.
Although I am not religious, when traveling, I enjoy walking into houses of worship, and feeling the history, the aura and the spiritual connection. Congregation Mickve Israel is a synagogue steeped in history.
